Sedapnya Kek Marble Trioooo..........

 
 
 
Dah banyak kali ingin mencuba kek ini....Kek Marble Trio....yang dah ramai mencubanya...tapi disebabkan kekurangan bahan , kak rus tangguhkan dulu.......
Pada 15 Mei kak rus terus mencubanya kerana nak bagi kat sekolah lama kak rus untuk dijamu pada cikgu-cikgu yang kak rus sentiasa ingati sempena sambutan Hari Guru.....
Tapi malangnya hajat kak rus tak kesampaian kerana seorang wakil dari sekolah yang janji nak datang mengambilnya....... tak datang.Kak rus pula kena pergi ke hospital hari tu dan dah berpesan pada anak kak rus yang baru balik dari Puchong untuk menyerahkannya kepada PT yang akan datang katanya.
Memang tiada rezeki cikgu-cikgu......bila kak rus balik dari hospital...tengok kek masih berada di atas meja......elok waktu tu dah pukul 2.30 petang....mesti guru-guru dah balik.
Besoknya kak rus menelefon sekali lagi.......rupanya PT yang janji nak datang ambil pergi berkursus.....Kak rus suruh dia datang ambil juga memandangkan kek tu besar...siapa nak makan.Anak kak rus menyarankan supaya kak rus potong dulu kek tersebut....apalagi dengan syoknya kak rus potong dan serahkan setengah daripada kek tu kepada Pt tersebut untuk dijamu pada kakitangan di pejabat sahajalah kot....
Jadilah....... dapatlah kak rus dan ahli keluarga merasanya....dan memang sedap sangat.Gebu keknya malah berbau harum....dan cantik marblenya.....kak rus akan buat lagi kek ini dan kak rus nak ucapkan terima kasih yang tak terhingga kepada Mamafami malah juga kepada Encik Mat Gebu kerana Mamafami mengambil resepi dari rumahnya.Kak rus jarang-jarang ke blog Encik Mat Gebu....tapi hari tu bila kak rus ke rumahnya...alahai macam-macam ada semuanya lazat-lazat belaka...semuanya A++......Terima kasih banyak-banyak...

Ingredients :

300g butter
280g flour*
1 tablespoon milk powder*
1 teaspoon baking powder*(sift together all ingredients marked *)
5 large eggs
1 tablespoon ovalette (cake stabiliser)
250g castor sugar
50ml fresh milk
1 1/2 teaspoons chocolate emulco
1 teaspoon strawberry emulco
1 /2 teaspoon rose essence
a tint of pink coloring

METHOD :

1. Prepare an 8 x 8 x 3 inches cake tin. Grease the sides with butter and a bit of flour. Line the base with greaseproof paper.
2. Beat butter till pale in color. I beat manually. Add in flour, a little at a time till all flour are used and mixture is well mixed. Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl (clean and dry), beat eggs and ovalette.
4. Add in sugar, a little at a time and continue beating on high speed till mixture is light and fluffy, like the chiffon mixture.
5. Reduce the speed and add in the butter and flour mixture, a little at a time.
6. Pour in the fresh milk and rose essence.
7. Divide the mixture into 3 equal portions. Add 1 portion with chocolate emulco. Another portion with strawberry emulco and a tint of pink coloring. Leave 1 portion plain.
8. Spoon 2 tablespoons of plain mixture onto the middle of the cake tin. Top it with 2 spoonful of pink mixture, followed by the chocolate mixture. Repeat the process until all the mixture are used up.
9. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 40 to 45 minutes.

Note : Oven temperature and baking time may differ.


Selain daripada kek tersebut kak rus juga mencuba Coffee Bread....wow memang sedap dan gebuuuuu.....Thank Q Mamafami.....tak puas kak rus makan roti tu,anak kak rus bawa balik Puchong....kak rus akan membuatnya lagiiiiiiiiii

COFFEE BREAD

Ingredients :

190 g high protein flour (I used multipurpose flour)
50 g sugar
2 g salt
6 g instant dried yeast
1/2 teaspoon bread improver
1 egg yolk
50 g fresh milk
12 g instant coffee (I mixed 2g nescafe granules with 10g hot water)
60 g water roux
1/2 teaspoon cappuchino coffee emulco (I added)
30 g butter
3/4 cup raisin (kak rus added)
Method : (Breadmaker method)

1. Pour fresh milk into the breadmaker pan. Add in instant coffee, salt, sugar, egg and water roux.
2. Top it with sifted flour, dry yeast and bread improver.
3. Set the Breadmaker to Dough function.
4. Once the dough is just combined, add in butter and leave the Breadmaker to continue doing it's job. This process will take about 1 1/2 hour including prooving.
5. Remove dough from BM and punch down to release the air. Cut the dough 35g portion each. Make into round balls and leave to rest for 10 minutes.
6. Let the air out of the dough and make into round balls again. Arrange in the prepared tin.
7. Leave to proof till double the size.
8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 25 minutes or so.
9. Once out of the oven, brush with butter.

Water Roux - Kak rus make 1/2.......
Ingredients :

50g flour
250g water

1. Whisk the flour and water that you have decided to use in a bowl until it is whisked well and is free of lumps.
2. Put it on the stove and warm it up for 2-3 minutes at 65C. Be careful not to burn it!
3. Cover it with plastic wrap and store it in the fridge.

When using it, make sure it is at room temperature. The Water Roux Starter lasts for 3 days before it goes off.


Ini pula hidangan lunch semalam......Gulai Parpu Pecah Telur,Sambal Tumis Udang ngan Petai dan Ayam Goreng Berempah.....ngancam gila.....tapi apapun kak rus cuma makan nasi seciput sahaja...........hehehe......
